The Salvation Army Bridge Centre (Alcohol and Drug Support) – Taranaki

MENTAL HEALTH & ADDICTIONS SERVICE

Whether you’re considering getting some help for yourself or a friend or relative, The Salvation Army Bridge offers the opportunity to evaluate alcohol or drug use and explore ways to bring things under control again.

The Bridge Centre is accessible via self-referral, whanau bringing a member in, doctor referral, legal referral/edict (i.e. Court ‘sectioning’).

First step in getting on the programme is physically presenting at the Programme’s premises (see below). Thenupon, a process of assessment will be done and suitable candidates (what defines this?) will be advised of admission dates. NB: the wait list can be significant (i.e. months)
